Sun and Moon

All his stars were dragged down as he passed the torch to the Sun. He saw him everyday, yet, they have never been in the sky at the same time, His silver glow faded in the return of his golden half, and the sky was filled with honey. The Moon's dark mane melted in the heat of his rise, and he watched as he sank into the horizon. He reached as his destined path pulled him away. Maybe they would come face to face one day, and rule the sky together.
